All I remember about Limey Dave was that
he was likable, pretty down and out, used to hang around the streets
of the Corridor and drank heavily.
I think he is related in some way to Alan
& Ralph Franklin.
I'm told that, then he lay dying on a sidewalk, he is reported to
have said, "Wine! Give me some wine!"
Please - could someone give us more
info on Dave.

Limey's name was David Earl. He was, as noted in another part of
the site, a member of the Artists
Workshop. Also he was a jazz drummer and father of three
children -- two daughters and a son and a Korean war vet.
