Musician, Videographer
Memorial jam for Charlie Reese,
Sunday Aug. 26th at the Miami starting at 3:00pm
Charlie was born Jan 21, 1950
and passed away on May 27, 2007. He was a musician, videographer and
action hero. He played the bass guitar and played at the
Freezer Theater
during the late 70s and early 80s. He also played at the Community
Concert Series which started at St. Andrews Church. He sat in with
many other bands and played at other places in and around Detroit.
In the past 5 years he began to learn to produce movies and did a
couple of them before he became ill. He has another one that he shot
but did not have time to edit. The videos were very political and
anti-Bush/Cheney and they were very funny as well. He took martial
arts and fencing classes so that he could portray some of the
characters in his videos.
He was a great guy with a great sense of humor and a lot of
political anger.
He had one son from his first marriage, Terence, 34 years old.
Married in May 1988 to Onalee Riess. |
