Remembrances:

06/22/15 Peter Werbe writes:
To friends and comrades of Federico Arcos:

We will gather on Sunday, July 19 to remember and honor Federico Arcos, who passed away on May 26 at 94 after a long and admirable life. See attachment for a short summary.

The event is from 1-4pm at the Cass Cafe, 4620 Cass Avenue, Detroit, at W. Forest, south of Wayne State University in the Midtown district. Parking is available on the street with limited spaces behind the restaurant.

Eulogies and appreciations will be presented. If you are not able to join us but wish to write a reflection, please send it to: LorPerlman@yahoo.com. One of us will read it.

Light refreshments will be served. Bring dish to share if you like. Cash bar.

We would appreciate an RSVP if you plan to attend so we can have an idea of how many will attend. Use LorPerlman@yahoo.com

We welcome all of Federico's friends but may not have contact information for some. Please circulate this invitation to anyone who might like to come.

Stephen Goodfellow remembers:
For those of you who didn't know him, Federico was an Anarchist who fought against Franco's fascists during the Spanish Civil War. I knew him as a dear man with a moral compass that never veered away from a strong sense of right and justice. I shall miss him.

If anyone wishes to contribute memories, pictures of Federico, please post here.
