Does anyone know if this is the same place that had the Red door as an entrance? If it is and my old coconut memory hasn't clouded over again on me, I think I saw Bernardo Bertolucci's Il Conformista and Roman Polanski's Knife in the Water and the Tenant there with some fourth street friends. I remember folding chairs in rows so I'm guessing the room was used for other activities. BTW there was also the great DIA movie viewing room a few blocks away. I moved to NY 30 years ago so it's all a little fuzzy. |

Yes, there was (is?) a red door from the parking lot of the 1st UU to Pullman Hall, which housed the housed the CCC in the mid-70s. |

Yup, same place (UU). I used to play there (Open City coffeehouse)when it was a coffee house ('69), then, later that fall Cass City Cinema showed films there. I remember seeing "The Helstrom Chronicle". Cass City also showed film on campus in various locations. |

Joe, did you play in a band or as a solo? Be sure to add yourself to the "Bands Of the Cass Corridor" thread under the "General Discussion" heading. |
